British Fashion invasion – Lahore heralds the arrival of Monsoon

I vividly recall a teenager Me navigating endlessly through MONSOON ’s website, hoping a friend from UK would send over my favorite stuff from the British High Street Brand to me in Pakistan. This was some 10 years ago. For die-hard fans of Monsoon like myself , the Brand opened up its first ever store in Pakistan at Dolmen Mall Karachi in Jan’2012 , stocking a unique range of Ladies’ and Children’s’ Daywear, Occassionwear, and Accessories.
After its huge success in Karachi , Monsoon is now all set to launch its second store in Lahore. This will be an exciting opportunity for Lahore’s hard core fashionistas to shop the hottest International trends at a store that resembles London’s flagship store on Oxford Street . With Monsoon just around the corner (pun intended) we can’t wait to get our hands on to their latest Autumn/Winter 2012 collection & gear-up for the coming season. :D
Monsoon’s Fall 2012 collection is all about gorgeous textures, warm floral prints & earth tones, perfect for a golden autumnal day. Here is a list of ‘A Wardrobe Affair’s must-grabs from their Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 collection:-
Dark Winter Florals Topped Vogue UK’s “30 Ways to Re-Invent your Wardrobe” last week (Read Here) . Shift from the more vibrant summer florals to darker hues this Winter. Pick the white one for a flirty feminine look at a Day Party whereas the opulent embroidered one would make a perfect choice for a Girls Night Out.

Shimmery Burnt golds or velvety blacks, a sequinned Blazer like the one above is a must-have this season. For those wanting a more elegant counterpart, wear this warm wool sweater with jewel encrusted detailing around the neck over a dress & you re ready to make a fashion statement.
