Sonia Azhar : PFDC L’Oreal Paris Bridal Week – Day 1
Titled “Dark Romance”, Sonia Azhar’s collection at PFDC L’oreal Paris Bridal Week can at best be defined in two words – Questionable taste. It lacked the ‘Romanticism’ required of a Finale collection & kept swaying between the ‘dark’ & the ‘light’ sides. While some of the outfits in earthy tones (picture number 2) were wearable, most of them were a far cry from being called traditional and/or contemporary bridals. Besides it was the overall distressed look (read styling) that had us cringing. Between the berry lips, the black head veils, the jewelled brows inspired from Chanel F/W 2012 & the maatha pattis/naths , there was too much going on around the face for anybody not to be distracted.
