We had two different sightings of Atelier Karma at two different wedding events this past week. Whilst Amna Kardar stuck to her signature style Karma look, Asmaa Mumtaz changed things up by going for a playful churidar suit with kolhapuris. Both ladies looked lovely.
Umm…On second thoughts we would give this one to Amna for keeping it minimal & elegant (for a change). The color looked lovely against her skintone.
On a side note, are’nt we all loving the influx of wedding style looks. Keep ‘em coming Ladies.

What seems like a massive photoshoot campaign featuring top make-up artists & models working his bridal creations, Ali Xeeshan has come up with a never been done before concept for Libas December’2012 issue. Each make-up artist was assigned one Ali Xeeshan bridal dress & one model who executed the shoot according to their style. So an entire series of shoots have been churned out, each with a different concept & styling that highlights the signature Ali Xeeshan bride.
Here’s your first look at the amazingly shot & brilliantly conceptualized campaign for Libas. It’s hard to pick a favorite but Maram & Aabroo’s featuring Neha and Guddu & Shani’s feat. Rabia Butt are absolutely stunning.

P.S. You may recall seeing one of the lehengas on Zara Peerzada here.
For her appearance at the Insignia winter brunch, Zara Peerzada chose to wear an ivory vintage crochet dress designed by her mom. She paired it up with tan gladiator boots from Insignia. We think it was a great outfit choice for a day event. Particularly loved the addition of the booties & belt to an otherwise flirty dress.
That said, we’re not too sure about the biker jacket. Wish she had opted for a tan or burgundy blazer instead. What do you guys say, with or without the jacket?
Thank you Zara for providing us with all the details :)

For the STING JHATZZKA Dance move event in Lahore, Meesha Shafi put in an appearance wearing separates, color coordinated with the label. Meesha almost always gets our vote, but this time the look felt too dark & heavy for the event in question. From the leopard-ey shirt to the stiletto boots to the oversized lapels of the jacket, nothing worked ! Are you with us on this?
We’re guessing she was wearing these burgundy jeggings from QUIZ.
Update : The leather jacket was by River Island ( Buy here ). Thank you Varda for identifying it !

‘Tis the season for wedding bells and we’re absolutely loving it. Celeb couple Shehroz Sabzwari and Syra Yousaf tied the knot this weekend with the bride looking her usual pretty self in a Peach-Pink Sania Maskatiya bridal dress. It’s amazing how they both look as cute together in real life as they do on-screen. We’re glad Syra did’nt go for any of the stereotypical looks for both the Baraat & the Walima and looked equally stunning on each day. The hair & make-up was done by Raana Khan on both days.
We wish all the very best to the lovely couple :)
P.S. Check back later to know who the Walima Sari was by – looks like a vintage one to us.

To no one’s surprise, Khadijah Shah wore a bridal dress from her own label Élan at Kiran Chaudhry ‘s wedding reception. It was a fresh-off-the-runway dress from Elan’s PFDC L’Oreal Paris Bridal Week 2012 collection. On someone else this would have seemed tad bit overwhleming for the event in question, but it’s Khadijah only who can manage to pull off a look so well. She looked gorgeous head-to-toe !
Not well-versed in Bag spotting but most certainly its a Chanel on her.

While it was churidars & shalwars for Samina & Sehr, others attended the wedding sari style. Meher Tareen ( Editor PAPER Magazine) wore an elegant ivory sari with a shawl to the Wedding reception. Burgundy lips & a red clutch completed her look. Mariam Azmi & Marya Javed ( designer at MARYA) on the other hand picked funky & flirty ones with both wearing theirs with bindis. It’s hard to pick a favorite between the two – loved both girls having fun their saris. Marya was wearing Meena Bazaar & Mariam was in KUKI Concepts.
Got a favorite ?
P.S. We like Meher’s mirrored aviators but they should have been skipped altogether with such an elegant look.
