Amna Kardar at PFDC L’Oreal Paris Bridal Week
We have been in a state of inertia ever since the PFDC L’Oreal Paris Bridal Week ended. A constant reminder had been popping up in our heads to review the umpteen Red Carpet looks that we had been doing our homework on….But that’s the thing about Bridal Weeks – they can be overwhelming… Well… Better late than never :) After all, you guys do love Red Carpet anytime & everytime they come on AWardrobeAffair. Out first pick : the host of the Black Carpet herself , Amna Kardar.
For Day 2 (she skipped Day1) of the Fashion Week, Amna wore a Kamiar Rokni halter neck dress & jacket from the designer’s Islamabad Fashion Week 2011 collection. Compared to the runway model, Amna wore hers well, with the sky-high platforms & Samia & Azmay Shahzada nude Clutch. We like !

Later in the night, she switched to a yellow Nida Azwer dress from Nida’s Parinda collection. Wish we had clearer full-length picture of this one, but from what we saw , this was our favorite look of Amna from PLBW. Loved the color against her skin tone.

Both Day3 & Day4 saw Amna in some heavy bridal dresses by Karma. In a perfect world, we wouldnt have wanted to see such heavy dresses on the the Black Carpet, but the nude one was an absolute stunner. She paired it up with nude heels by Insignia & some bangles which we wish she skipped. On the other hand, the Day4 look felt a tad bit overwhelming with the heavy make-up & earrings. Wish she had stylized it the same way as she did on Day3.
