Encyclomedia PR in collaboration with Mustang Productions put up a small & fashionable affair at the Asia House, London recently. Notable Designers who presented their collections before a select high profile audience at Fashion Parade London included Nomi Ansari, Maheen Khan, Sania Maskatiya & Layla Chatoor. The show was very well received by audiences & designers, with a general view that more high fashion events of the sort should be promoted within the South Asian diaspora in UK.
As promised, we’re happy to be covering Fashion Parade’s Red Carpet on our pages … So here it is, a quick round-up of all the looks that caught our attention:
1. THE BEST DRESSED
Our best dressed ladies from the night, Ayesha Mustafa (of Fashion Compassion) & Ammara Hikmat (of Encyclomedia PR) chose to pair their statement necklaces over mid-length dresses. Ayesha finished out her cobalt blue pencil dress with booties, red lips & a Fashion Compassion palestyle clutch, whilst Ammara added a blazer over the lime colored leather skirt to beat the winter chills. Both looked lovely & very ‘Fashion Forward’ (which was also the red carpet dress code). Got a favourite of the two?
2. TEAM SANIA MASKATIYA
CEO Mustang Productions, Sadia Siddiqui and Attika Chaudhary (B4U presenter) picked Sania Maskatiya in support of the designer’s show. Sadia wore a wrap tunic with cigerette pants from the designer’s ‘Hazaan’ collection, whilst Attika wore a digital print Kaftan from ‘Naksh’ collection.
Adnan Qazi (CEO of Silver Lemon Media, next to Sadia in picture below) posed in a quirky tie & pocket square by ‘Velsoir’ , ash blue Top Man jacket & black Zara Jeans.
3. THE DAPPER BOYS
Nomi Ansari looked bang on trend in a plaid TopShop blazer worn over Zara pullover, D&G jeans & Paul Smith shoes.
Zac Timol - Owner of luxury brand Velsoir attended in his own creations. Very Dapper !
4. THE SHOWCASING DESIGNERS
Layla Chatoor & Nazneen Tariq presented their collections at the Fashion Parade, and both the designers get a ‘miss’ from us for over-styling their outfits… Too many jewels & too much bling for a fashion event
