Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy at the Gucci Chime for Change Concert

In an intricately embellished black jacket, satin blouse & silk pants all by Misha Lakhani , Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy attended the Gucci Chime for Change : The Sound of Change Live concert in London yesterday. She completed her look with a red pout , dangly earrings & a Mahgul Rashid clutch (from her latest PSFW showing)…. She looked Great !
Sharmeen was accompanied by Humaira Bachal who is closely associated with Sharmeen’s on-going projects for girl child education in Pakistan. (you can read more about Humaira here ). So proud of both the ladies :)

Priyanka Chopra on the cover of HELLO! Pakistan

Remember we shared a little secret regarding Priyanka-Fahad collaboration last week? Well , you can thank us later but the guessing game is finally over – the fresh new Issue of HELLO! Pakistan is out now featuring none other than the gorgeous Priyanka Chopra on it’s cover . Shot by the famous Indian photog Dabboo Ratnani, the photoshoot comes as part of Fahad Hussayn’s Ittehad Textiles ‘Print Museum’ campaign with Priyanka as the brand ambassador.

Compared to the previous cover, this one was majorly Big both in terms of the featured celebrity & the layout of the page ( interesting lil sneak peak into Wardha Saleem, Sanam Chaudhri & Tena’s shoot). Do we like it ? Yes ! Are we blown away by it ? No ! A little voice in our head says there must have been other brilliant shots that would have made better picks – but that’s just us.

In Sabyasachi

Designer Mina Hasan was snapped recently wearing one of our favorite Sabyasachi sarees earlier seen on Sridevi at the Toronto Film Festival’2012. A little birdie tells us Mina’s is a replica made by herself. We can’t say for sure, but boy is it a bloody good fake IF at All it is one. Mina’s hair & make-up was done by Natasha’s salon. We dont have full lengths yet but waist up she looks smashing. Lusting those vintage earrings.

In Nida Azwer – Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy at the World Economic Forum 2013

To recieve her prestigious Crystal Award at the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos last night, Sharmeen Obaid picked up a shimmery gold Nida Azwer jumpsuit & embellished jacket and paired the outfit with a custom-made Samia & Azmay Shahzada swarovski flag clutch. Although it was reminiscent of Sharmeen’s last award show appearance in a gold & black ensemble, this is probably the best we have seen Sharmeen look at an International platform. Loved the berry lips & the length of the jacket on her.

In a perfect world we would have skipped the clutch altogether (which is more like a box version of Mahin Hussain flag clutch sported by Sharmeen earlier – see here & here ). It seemed to jarring & match-ey against the outfit. Those lovely chand-tara earrings (see if you can spot them in the last picture) were Pakistani enough.

Couple Talk : Ali Zafar and wife Ayesha Fazli at Zee Cine Awards 2013

Giving all the B’Town actresses a run for their money, Ayesha Fazli accompanied husband Ali Zafar at the Zee Cine Awards last night in a gorgeous black jumpsuit + lace jacket by Zara Shahjahan. A black McQueen clutch, nude peep-toes & emerald earrings completed her look. Ayesha almost always makes great sartorial choices for the red carpet & we love her effortlessly chic sense of style ; no floor sweeping tails & no unnecessary skin-show :P Loved the ombre hair & pop of color by way of lips.

P.S. You might recall Ayesha wearing Zara Shahjahan last year too at Karan Johar’s Birthday bash.

Shriya Saran at Kiran – Riyaaz’s Wedding reception

Like the Mehendi, it was another white-gold churidar outfit (Neeta Lulla again? ) for Shriya Saran at Kiran Chaudhry & Riyaaz Amlani’s wedding reception. The same suit was seen on Shriya back in July’2011 at Rowthiram Audio launch, and she styled it the same way as she did back then ( does’nt it sound like our earlier post now :D ). We’re not fans of the outfit itself, and it would have been great to see Shriya don her favorite designer Manish Malhotra in Lahore instead. That said, it was great to see her bring some Bollywood glamour to the wedding.

Spotted : Bollywood Diva Shriya Saran at Kiran Chaudhry’s Wedding

It came as a lovely surprise to spot Bollywood starlet Shriya Saran in the heavy Baraat contigent at Kiran Chaudhry’s Wedding in Lahore. Shriya who happens to be a friend of Kiran’s husband Riyaaz Amlani, wore a light pink Neeta Lulla anarkali to the Mehendi , which she had also worn to Ganesh Hedge’s wedding in 2011. Although she styled the outfit exactly the same way as she did back then , it looked way better at Kiran’s – thanks to the altered sleeves, shawl & red bindi.

Marya Javed (next to Shriya in first picture) is wearing Kalah. A perfect Indo-Pak picture of two gorgeous ladies :)
