Fashion Face-Off : QB & Aamina Sheikh in Fahad Hussayn

At their respective wedding events, both Quratulain Balouch & Aamina Sheikh went for an off-the-runway Fahad Hussayn ensemble from the designer’s PFDC L’Oreal Paris Bridal Week collection. While QB wore hers exactly like the runway version, Aamina went for a heavier look pairing the lehenga & dopatta with an embellished shirt (Fahad again? ).

Although we’re big Aamina Sheikh fans but we’ll give this one to QB – for being fun & quirky with her wedding outfit & styling it accordingly. We would’nt have approved Aamina’s pink shirt on anyone else , but she still managed to look good. Agreed?

P.S. On a side note, love Fia’s black-gold saree with the red lip.

Hadiqa Kiyani’s Three-way Fashion Face-Off

Sticking true to the signature style lace shrugs that Hadiqa has been spotted wearing twice earlier (see here & here), it was yet another white lace shrug by Quiz for her at a recent Boutique launch. She paired the shrug over a striped vest & blue Jeggings. Although we think the look could have turned out great with a blazer instead, compared to the other two , this one was definitely better.

Sana (or) Safinaz ?

At a recent lawn launch, Safinaz Muneer was spotted in similar version of the designer duo’s zig-zag printed shirt that was earlier worn by Sana Hashwani at the launch of ‘One’ by Ensemble in Karachi. A different color but an almost similar cut & collar in both versions. While Sana kept the whole look formal & accessorized , Safinaz went rather casual with a simple black clutch & open hair. We liked Safinaz’s purple version wee bit better than Sana’s.

Fashion Face-Off – Sri Devi & Kareena’s Manish Malhotra sari

There was something about the on-stage flash or the blouse of Sri Devi’s Manish Malhotra sari that made this look close to being tacky. We prefer the silver-sequin version of the same sari that Kareena wore at the Filmfare awards earlier this year. The drape should also have been spread out & not pinned up – not for this one. You agree or is it just our bias for Kareena speaking here ? :/

Three-Way Fashion Face Off

We spotted the same rust-gold Sana Safinaz dress top on Frieha recently that Sana Hashwani wore to the 3rd Fashion Pakistan Week Red Carpet in April this year. At both events, for a TV Morning Show and Veet Miss Super Model Press Meet , Frieha chose to wear the top with white pants (very much like Sana). Although both ladies did a good job at their respective events, we think Frieha fared it the best for the morning show – thanks to the Green neck piece & open hair.
