Street Style – Pakistan

Remember Lalarukh Malik? She was our first Fashionista Next Door and you all loved her edgy sense of style (so did we). Well…Here she is again with some more serious fashion savvy looks. Take notes as this Blogger-in-Chief of Feathers & Quill tells us how she celebrates fashion Street Style !!

Got a favorite among all four looks of Lalarukh? For us , it was Look 1. Loved it !

Look 1:  I’m wearing a chiffon dress with studded collar detail, from Bikbok. The ballet flats are from H&M.

Look 2 : I’m clad in H&M head to toe, the parkas, shoes and the polka-dotted mini are all from H&M.

Look 3 & 4 : I’m dressed in H&M hedd-to-toe, yet again (yes i LOVE H&M :P). A pink knit, light blue cropped trousers and beige oversized blazer, all from H&M. My bag is from the Marni for H&M collection. I got this collar necklace from GinaTricot. The shades and flats are H&M as well.

Style File – Azeeza Desai Khan

How gorgeous does Azeeza Desai Khan (of Atelier AZZA) look in one of her recent snaps with the world renown Chicago Children’s Choir & their Director Josephine Lee . She wears a black ballerina dress from her own line with gold Valentino bow heels.

This one was taken at Lollapalooza ( annual music festival held in Chicago) back in summer and we absolutely love the sheer blue skirt with signature AZZA belt & feather detailing. Like TresAwesome said :

“..only Azeeza would wear this glamorous confection to a music festival. The major upside of this was people (including security for the VIP areas) kept mistaking her for one of the artists performing”.

A similar pleated blue AZZA dress was seen on Azeeza at the recently held SitaRamChicago, a musical play by David Schwimmer’s production company. Azeeza was the official costume designer of the musical, seen here with one of her favorite characters – the monkey :)

The Fashionista Next Door

She is a perfect definition of The Fashionista Next Door. We stumbled upon Alyzeh’s Fashion & Beauty Blog (www.beautyfruityblurbs.com) recently and instantly fell in love with her edgy sense of style. Having been brought up in Dubai, Karachi & Sydney, she  keeps a keen eye on good styling, hottest trends that are available in the Pakistani market as well as fashion campaigns that break boundaries. Beauty Fruity Blurbs is one of the very few fashion Blogs of Pakistan which is not only a portal for critique but also a diary about fashion in the Blogger’s own life – her personal style and how she celebrates fashion on a day to day basis.

“I am a die hard fashion fanatic and find inspiration in everything I lay my eyes on” - Alyzeh wrote to us.

Street Style New York

A lawyer by profession, but a true fashionista at heart, Basimah is every bit of your modern day working girl. A hint of 70′s was seen seen through her outfit that she wore while out on the streets of New York ; the high waist flare bottom went perfectly well with the fitted tee for an effortlessly polished look. Oh, and yes, white is big this season!
