Of Strapless dresses – Lux Style Awards 2012

Oddly enough, it was nude dresses for the stylists at the LSAs. Quite similar in color & drape to Asmaa Mumtaz’s dress at the LSAs (see here) , Creative Director of Nadir Feroz Khan Photography & fashion stylist Maha Burney wore a strapless Maheen Karim gown. A side bun & shimmery metal case clutch added finishing details to her look. An elegant look pulled off nicely, though we would have loved to see a better choice of clutch with that dress, like the ivory & gold McQueen clutch here .

Also wearing a strapless ivory Zaheer Abbas gown, with similarly pleated & cut around the bust as Maha’s was model Amna Ilyas . Personally, we love the dress itself & it fits around Amna perfectly . However Amna fell prey to bronzer issues making her look a dull. That said, a great pick for the red carpet. Brownie points for the clutch.

Mathira shoots for Hello ! Magazine

Though there was alot of skin show in the photoshoot – but hey what did you expect – its Mathira we re talking about here – But we were quite impressed with her shoot for Hello! Pakistan. Think she makes a good face for the covers and should focus more on modelling (not the ramp – last time we had her on the ramp , we ended up disagreeing :P ) . That said, beautiful shots by Nadir Firoz Khan in outfits by Ayesha Hashwani, Sanam Chaudhri & Maheen Karim.
