While Andaleeb Rana (fashion critic & Editor-in-Chief Xpoze Magazine) chose a knee length, gold sequin number by Sadaf Malaterre for the awards, stylist Ranaa Khan picked a more nude toned, floor length one (again by Sadaf – and hence the similarity). For us it was a clear win – major props to Andaleeb’s flawless skin & sandals. Infact it was such a relief to finally see someone skip the sky-high pumps for a much more comfortable & chic pair of sandals. Don’t blame us for not getting too excited about Ranaa. Other than falling prey to inner-wear malfunction (if you know what we mean), it was too cliché’d a look for the Green Carpet.
While it was shimmer & shine for these ladies, Fareshteh & Nabila went the ‘simple & elegant’ route. We don’t exactly know who Nabila is wearing – but considering the oddly similar cut of her dress to that of Fareshteh’s , we re guessing both were wearing Shehla Chatoor. No prizes for guessing here – both the ladies looked lovely. (If we still have to pick out a flaw, we de pick the footwear in both )
